TAOS CLAY POTTERY WORKSHOPS AND CLASSES
offers multi-day workshops are designed for serious ceramic students of all ability levels and cover a broad variety of construction, glazing and firing techniques, many taught by notable regionally and nationally recognized ceramic artists
This premier outlet for regional tapestry yarns and supplies has been a long-standing tradition in the weaving community in Taos. Lessons focus on contemporary tapestry design and are taught by third-generation owner Teresa Loveless.
Mark Sax workshops were founded with the goal of providing a format for the best instructors in the field to share their knowledge with students. The teacher-student ratio is small; each 7-day workshop is limited to 18 participants.

TAOS ART SCHOOL
Courses on creativity, field trips to Canyon de Chellly and the Four Corners area for plein air painting and photography, equine sculpture, even the Artist in the Kitchen featuring an appreciation of Frida Kahlo and Georgia O’Keeffe.
Well known for his colorful individually-made tableware and pottery, Stephen is also an accomplished watercolorist and acrylic painter. Stephen is starting to teach small groups of 1 to 4 people for one- or two-day workshops.
Honoring the memory of impressionist Nicolai Fechin, these workshops attract instructors of both national and international reputation. Workshops are limited to 20 students and advance reservations are required.

TAOS TOOLBOX WRITERS WORKSHOP
A two-week Master Class in Science Fiction and Fantasy, this "graduate" workshop is designed to bring the professional writer of science fiction and fantasy writing to the next level.
These literary evenings invite writers to read from their recent work, pairing up-and-coming writers with nationally and internationally recognized authors. The eight-week programs take place January/February and July/August of every year.
Former home of arts patron and author Mabel Dodge Luhan, her house is a mecca for the creative soul, and throughout the year workshops and retreats are scheduled for writers from all walks of life – from beginner to professional.
The Helene Wurlitzer Foundation is one of the oldest artist residence programs in the country. The Foundation keeps a low-profile and serves as a haven for painters, poets, sculptors, writers, playwrights, composers, photographers and film.
