Taos is New Mexico True
Taos, NM

Taos celebrates the culture and arts—visual, performing, culinary, musical, and literary—over and over, all year long. Artists, writers, and musicians are vital members of the Taos community, helping to make Taos the unique cultural destination it is. Visits are encouraged to come to Taos during one of its annual community festivals. Luckily, no matter what time of year you’re planning your trip, there’s bound to be a festival to excite your mind and tickle your senses.

In Spring, breathe in the sweet scent of lilacs around every corner or celebrate Mom with some free music and family fun. In summer, catch some live opera, dance the night away at a fiesta, or run up and over a mountain. In fall, celebrate Oktoberfest in true alpine splendor, take in some sheep shearing, or kick back in the park for a weekend of live music. And in winter—when you’re not skiing, that is—raise a glass of vino or cocoa in celebration of all that Taos has to offer.
