The 18-hole disc golf course at Taos Ski Valley starts in the Resort Center, at the base of Chair 1. The course winds its way up the Rubezahl trail, which is a very popular summer hiking trail. Then returns down Pioneer Beginners Hill to base.

In 1801 construction started on an adobe church with a flat roof and walls three to four feet thick. From 1826 to 1857 it served as the local priest Padre Antonio Jose Martínez’s headquarters.
