Portions of the Blumenschein Home and Museum were built in 1797. Ernest Blumenschein, co-founder of the Taos Society of Artists, brought his family to the Taos in 1919. The artist and his family lived there for more than 40 years. Mon-Sat: 10-5, Sunday: 12-5.

Offered Wednesday–Sunday from 8:30am-12:00pm (May - October), these pint-sized tours begin and end at local partners, Taos Mountain Outfitters, located in the Taos Historic Plaza with a maximum of six guests per tour. The tour includes visits to the Taos Art Museum at Fechin House, the Martinez Hacienda, La Loma Plaza, a local artist and mayordoma, the San Francisco de Asís Church, and will end on a sweet note with a stop at the Taos Cow at Anglada.
