Taos, with its abundant accommodations, dining, and activity options, is a great place to spend a few days. It’s also a great base camp from which to explore the surrounding mountain towns and villages along the Enchanted Circle Scenic Byway. Each has its own unique character and attractions; you’ll find everything from a village at the feet of a world-class ski resort, a sleepy old mining town, the quaintest little village you’ve ever seen, a town with a modern resort at its heart, and maybe even a ghost town or two.
And the best part is, you’ll be back to Taos in time for dinner!
