ledoux street and guadalupe plaza

Ledoux Street Tucked away behind the plaza is a jewel of Taos. Ledoux Street is possibly one of

the most colorful streets in Taos. This street is lined with traditional adobe shops, galleries, museums and studios and framed with established country flower gardens and wall murals. Plan a visit to the Bluemenschein Home and Museum and Harwood Museum of Art when discovering Ledoux Street. During Yuletide Ledoux Street hosts an annual event called The lighting of Ledoux where the streets are lined with glowing Farolitos.

The quaintness would be a New Mexico cliché if Ledoux weren’t so utterly unpretentious and real – a street where working artists have lived, made their art, and made their name for the last century.
