This area of Taos is steeped in history and story. The road is Kit Carson Road Mapnamed after Kit Carson, arguably the most famous frontiersman in America, who led the way to the Pacific Coast. Plan a visit to the fascinating home of Kit Carson and step back for a moment in Taos history.
