pet friendly taos

Traveling with pets in Taos is easy with our guide to pet friendly vacation rentals, hotels and motels, restaurants & bars, shops, trails and dog parks.

There are numerous hiking trails to wander, the John Dunn Bridge area with several deep swimming holes, and a large park to run in.  A leash is required in the main shopping district, but many retail stores will put out water dishes for the dogs and some will even allow dogs in the store. And don’t leave your furry travel companions when it’s time for dinner. A dog’s gotta eat too!
