Honoring the memory of impressionist Nicolai Fechin, these workshops attract instructors of both national and international reputation. Workshops are limited to 20 students and advance reservations are required.

With shaded gardens and lovely indoor spaces, this artistic salon is steeped in early 20th century artistic and literary history – a perfect place to stay, get married or have a retreat. 2/10 mile east of Taos Plaza on Morada Lane.

Courses on creativity, field trips to Canyon de Chellly and the Four Corners area for plein air painting and photography, equine sculpture, even the Artist in the Kitchen featuring an appreciation of Frida Kahlo and Georgia O’Keeffe.

These literary evenings invite writers to read from their recent work, pairing up-and-coming writers with nationally and internationally recognized authors. The eight-week programs take place January/February and July/August of every year.
