About Enchanted Forest Cross Country Ski & Snowshoe Area

Enchanted Forest is New Mexico’s only full-service cross-country ski and snowshoe area. We offer a full rental shop, cross-country ski lessons, guided and self-guided snowshoeing, fat bike rentals, a comfy day lodge and a midway “warming” yurt for a nice picnic, as well as overnight camping yurts. With over 30km of groomed ski trails, 18km of snowshoe trails, and 5km of trails for outings with your dog, there are trails for everyone.

Enchanted Forest is located just 3 miles east of Red River, NM on NM highway 38. Enchanted Forest operates under a special use permit in the Carson National Forest, USDA Forest Service.
