This is the New Mexico Centennial year and Taos will celebrate in its own unique way. Because 2012 is also the centennial of the births of two renown Taos women artists – Agnes Martin and Bea Mandelman – we’re calling this “The Year of the Remarkable Taos Woman” in celebration of the women who have made, and continue to make, Taos the remarkable place it is today.

Our ski areas are open, to the joy of skiers and boarders and thanks to Mother Nature’s gift of early snow and cold nights for snowmaking. See today’s snow report for all four Taos area ski resorts.
