TAOS CLAY POTTERY WORKSHOPS AND CLASSES
offers multi-day workshops are designed for serious ceramic students of all ability levels and cover a broad variety of construction, glazing and firing techniques, many taught by notable regionally and nationally recognized ceramic artists
WEAVING SOUTHWEST CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS
This premier outlet for regional tapestry yarns and supplies has been a long-standing tradition in the weaving community in Taos. Lessons focus on contemporary tapestry design and are taught by third-generation owner Teresa Loveless.
SAX STONECARVING WORKSHOP
Mark Sax workshops were founded with the goal of providing a format for the best instructors in the field to share their knowledge with students. The teacher-student ratio is small; each 7-day workshop is limited to 18 participants.
WOMENS WELDING WORKSHOPS WITH CHRISTINA SPORRONG
Christina is a performance artist and metal sculptor. Introductory course is in the MIG(GMAW) and ARC(SMAW) welding processes, Oxy-Ace cutting, as well as basic metallurgy, metal fabrication tools and an intro to the art of Blacksmithing.

This workshop is for professional artists, beginning artists and creative souls. Gwen’s Watercolor, Fine Art Collage and Mixed Media Workshops brim with life, color and camaraderie.
TAOS ART SCHOOL
Courses on creativity, field trips to Canyon de Chellly and the Four Corners area for plein air painting and photography, equine sculpture, even the Artist in the Kitchen featuring an appreciation of Frida Kahlo and Georgia O’Keeffe.
STEPHEN KILBORN WORKSHOPS
Well known for his colorful individually-made tableware and pottery, Stephen is also an accomplished watercolorist and acrylic painter. Stephen is starting to teach small groups of 1 to 4 people for one- or two-day workshops.
RICHARD ALAN NICHOLS WORKSHOPS
With a rich foundation in traditional impressionism, this personable, internationally recognized artist schedules workshops and private classes throughout the year.
FECHIN ART WORKSHOPS
Honoring the memory of impressionist Nicolai Fechin, these workshops attract instructors of both national and international reputation. Workshops are limited to 20 students and advance reservations are required.

Michael DeYoung is a landscape and adventure photography mentor and workshop instructor with a successful commercial photography career. We offer private instruction, mentoring, and workshops in New Mexico, Utah, and Alaska.

Authors such as Mabel Dodge Luhan, D.H. Lawrence, Frank Waters, John Nichols and Mirabai Starr nurtured their talents here and produced widely-recognized works of enduring fame and quality.
TAOS TOOLBOX WRITERS WORKSHOP
A two-week Master Class in Science Fiction and Fantasy, this "graduate" workshop is designed to bring the professional writer of science fiction and fantasy writing to the next level.
SMU-IN-TAOS CULTURAL INSTITUTE
Taos Cultural Institute courses give you two-and-a-half days of in-depth, hands-on exploration of topics that reflect the unique cultural richness of Northern New Mexico.
SOMOS WINTER & SUMMER WRITER SERIES
These literary evenings invite writers to read from their recent work, pairing up-and-coming writers with nationally and internationally recognized authors. The eight-week programs take place January/February and July/August of every year.
MABLE DODGE LUHAN HOUSE 2016 WORKSHOPS
Former home of arts patron and author Mabel Dodge Luhan, her house is a mecca for the creative soul, and throughout the year workshops and retreats are scheduled for writers from all walks of life – from beginner to professional.
THE HELENE WURLITZER FOUNDATION OF NEW MEXICO
The Helene Wurlitzer Foundation is one of the oldest artist residence programs in the country. The Foundation keeps a low-profile and serves as a haven for painters, poets, sculptors, writers, playwrights, composers, photographers and film.

Taos has it's own unique flavors with an emphasis on green and red chile, called Christmas! Experience a hands-on cooking class with a renowned Taos Chef to learn the art of New Mexican cooking and World wide cuisine.

Cooking classes with Chef Chris Maher, past recipient of six 4-Diamond Culinary Awards and a James Beard recognized chef. We discuss, assign, cook and then sit down and enjoy what we have prepared together and talk some more.
