BACK TO FESTIVALS

arts & crafts fairs

One of the highlights of a visit to Taos are its frequent weekend arts and crafts fairs that support local and regional craft artists – a perfect activity to include in your Taos adventures, and a great opportunity to find unique, handmade, attractively priced items.

Every year, Blue Skies Production schedules arts and crafts fairs in Kit Carson Park for Friday-Monday Memorial and Labor Day weekends and around the annual Wool Festival the first weekend in October. It’s a great opportunity to pick up hand-crafted small gifts from a variety of artists for everyone on your list. The Taos County Chamber of Commerce also schedules the Annual Spring and Fall Arts and Crafts Fairs, in early May and the last weekend in September. All events are held at Kit Carson Park except the Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair. Proceeds support their respective organizations– dates vary, so please contact them for more information.
