Twirl Toystore & Playspace
This magical toystore and playspace is located right in the Taos Plaza and offer your little ones a unique and fun place where they can let their imaginations soar. Town of Taos Youth and Family Center
Serves the general public without membership fees and only nominal daily fees for a few activities (skating, swimming/locker room, and party room rental). Visitors are invited to take advantage of the indoor lap pool plus water slide pool area and separate toddler kiddie pool, seasonal ice skating rink/skate park, rollerblading arena, computer lab and various youth & adult activities including video games and pool tables.
Taos Public Library
In 2010, the Taos Public Library was awarded the Library Journal’s Star rating for providing exceptional service to the Taos community (only 237 libraries out of 7,400 libraries considered win this prestigious designation). The library’s collection includes more than 71,100 volumes for readers of all ages. Additionally, the library has a meeting room available for use by community groups and agencies (see website for policies on reserving this space)
The Harwood Museum of Art
The centerpiece of cultural and artistic life in Taos, the University of New Mexico’s Harwood Museum of Art, has exhibitions that change frequently. Weekly lectures and films, (even yoga!) and ongoing programs for children, families, teens and adults round out an incredibly active schedule. Rental and group tours available.

Bebecare and Kindercare for the little ones. Junior Elite programs for kids over three. Taos introduces your children to snowsports with a series of unique children's programs, led by specially trained instructors and housed in a state-of-the-art facility that kids will be comfortable using as a "home base" during the day. Children even have their own area, pint-sized lifts, special terrain, and equipment shop.

Sipapu's children’s ski school is for kids ages 3-12. They believe that the best way for young skiers and snowboarders to learn is by having fun, with professional instructors committed to not only safety and skill development, but also into laughter, games and instilling your children with a passion for winter sports. Los Rios offers a variety of options for any skill level and age (age 6 and up recommended), from family trips, which include camping and a gentle float peppered with stops at historic locales, to the thrilling adventure of the “Taos Box” (a particularly challenging section of the Rio Grande). Wild Earth Llama Adventures
Offers Familly Wilderness Adventures for families with children. Each family adventure is custom designed both prior to the trek and in the field. They want young people's early hiking and camping experiences to be fun and educational, not traumatic and will even work with you to plan a menu that your whole family will love!
