Taos ski areas are now open—Angel Fire, Red River, Sipapu and Taos Ski Valley, which boasts 110 trails in full swing, 50% of them expert, 24% beginner, 25% intermediate. Lift tickets for 1-day, 2 or more days, novice and half-day rates. Children 6 and under ski free with an adult. Check out new equipment purchases and après ski massage and hot springs soaks.
Mix it up with boarding, tubing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing and a little cross-country skiing or indoor skating for a change of pace. Of course, we’ve got plenty of snow going for youngsters, too.
